    Seoul Forest

Opened in 2005, Seoul Forest was transformed from an industrial area into a sprawling green sanctuary. Often compared to New York’s Central Park or London’s Hyde Park, it offers a blend of natural beauty and modern amenities. From lush gardens and wildlife habitats to art installations and eco-learning centers, this park has something for everyone.

    History of Seoul Forest Park

Seoul Forest occupies land that once served as a royal hunting ground during the Joseon Dynasty. In the 20th century, it was repurposed as an industrial site with facilities like a water treatment plant and a golf course. However, in 2005, the area was reimagined as a public park to provide much-needed green space for Seoul’s growing population. Today, it stands as a symbol of ecological restoration and urban renewal.
