    Oxygen Park

Oxygen Park is more than just a park—it’s a sanctuary for fresh air and tranquility. Designed to highlight the importance of oxygen and greenery in promoting healthy living, the park features lush landscapes, cascading waterfalls, shaded walkways, and state-of-the-art recreational facilities. Whether you’re looking to jog along its scenic tracks or enjoy a quiet picnic with loved ones, Oxygen Park offers an unparalleled experience.

    History of Oxygen Park

Commissioned by the Qatar Foundation and designed by AECOM under Erik Behrens and James Haig Streeter, Oxygen Park was inspired by Qatar’s natural landscapes. The architects drew inspiration from wind-eroded rocks and fluid land formations to create a space that seamlessly integrates nature with urban design. The park opened as part of Education City’s initiative to promote wellness and sustainability.

The park gained international recognition, becoming a finalist at the World Architecture Festival in 2017 and winning several prestigious awards for its innovative design. It also played a significant role during Qatar’s preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup by showcasing the country’s commitment to world-class leisure facilities.
