History of Legoland Japan Resort
The park opened in April 2017, operated by Merlin Entertainments, on reclaimed land at the Port of Nagoya. In April 2018 the SEA LIFE Nagoya aquarium and the Legoland Japan Hotel opened next door, turning the park into a full resort, and the LEGO NINJAGO World area followed in 2019.
Around 17 million LEGO bricks were used across the park, more than 10 million of them in Miniland alone.
