History of Al Zorah Beach
Al Zorah was developed as a mixed-use coastal community, with around 60% of its land set aside for mangroves and public spaces. The development includes residential districts, a beach resort, a marina with restaurants and cafés, and an 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.
The mangrove reserve is home to around 60 bird species, including flamingos, egrets and herons.
